BENGAL
Bengal was one of our Staffordshire rescues from a Los Angeles pound when we worked with them in conjunction with the Police Department's Anti-Fighting Task Force. He was only about 9 months old at the time, and a dog that we kept as a family pet. Our children grew up with him, and our youngest son was born after we already had him. He learned to walk by pulling up on him, and when he was too short to get onto the bed he grabbed a handful of Bengal, who was already on the bed, and used him to pull himself up. Bengal never let it disturb his nap, and never so much as blinked an eye. We had him until he was old and gray, until we finally lost him to cancer. He was a wonderful family member!
