Welcome! This is our way of remembering our special fur-friends after they have crossed what many of us know of as, The Rainbow Bridge. The picture on the left signifies the crossing, and how happy we are for them that they are in a wonderful, pain-free, perpetually young place, despite the fact that we miss their special, and unique companionship. Come look through the gate with us to remember these, the special animals of our lives. Annabelle; 1992 - March 17th, 2009. From a shelter in Louisiana on March 20, 2001, Annabelle became best friend to Mop's children. She loved cheese, and would always look in on the kids before lying down to sleep for the night. The girls called her "Doggie-Belle" because they couldn't say Annabelle, when they were small. Auki; 1996 (?) - November, 2007. Auki was Hattiemae's 1st Borzoi. They only had 3 months together, but he brought incredible beauty and grace into her life, and was a perfect ambassador for his breed. His size and dignity disguised a loving, quietly humorous nature. Baron Martin; July 29, 2002 – June 13th, 2009. Baron, a GSD, was a good friend of Naylz', their love being mutual. Baron never met a stranger, but Naylz was special to him. Once he even tried to get to her through the phone when she left a msg at his house! Blackie; April 1994 – September 2006. Hattiemae will always miss her beautiful boy's happy spirit, luxurious coat, and quick intelligence. A chow mix, he was her first dog as an adult. He was also her sheriff, quickly stepping in if manners needed to be reinforced, and to remind wayward greyhounds of proper etiquette! Blue; May, 1997 - January 20th, 2009. He was the brightest and smartest dog Paten ever had the privilege to share her life with. Her best friend, they worked Burnt Oak Ranch together, and learned to sing with coyotes! Bogart; November, 1995 - January 26th, 2009. Adopted at 4, Laura found talent and beauty in her 'majestic jester' of a miniature schnauzer. The best $29 she ever spent. Some special moments together, were of him winning best trick at SchnauzerFest several times, "Best Singer" with, Who Let The Dogs Out, 2 Dog Days, auditioning for Animal Planet's 'Pet Star' & playing a member of the traveling dog act in The Boiler Room Theater's Will Rogers' Follies. Bongo; March 20th, 2000 - August 25th, 2003 During his 11 1/2 months as a foster and adoptee off the track, Bongo's winning personality endeared him to everyone who met, or heard of him, especially his dad, Sean. Boomer Pegram Short; December 16th, 1991 - May 4th, 2002. A special family name for a special soul mate who shared Boxerjen's life for more than 10 wonderful years. Breeze; ? - September 2007. Breeze blew into Hattiemae's life unexpectedly, and passed away just as unexpectedly from parvo. The very short time this special girl was with her, made her realize how nice it might be to have a smaller dog around, paving the way for others of her breed to enjoy a new home with the greyhounds! Callie; March 26th, 1990 - August 24th, 2003. She was a cat who gave Rottenrot joy for many happy years! Callie; April 1st, 1994 - March 12th, 2006. Momo's sweetheart of a girl, she loved her people, & chasing bubbles! Emily's special protector, Callie lived life to it's fullest! Cashmere; November, 1989 - June 8th, 1994. Special cat who shared Hattiemae's life and wealth of love. Chenu; The Samoyed that won the heart of Momofmop. "Chip" Schooltz; January 23rd, 1993 - June 10th, 2002. This black lab's warmth, charm, and love brightened his father's life, as well as those of other's who knew him! Cinnamon January 4th, 1989 - August 23rd, 2003. Special from the time she was born an orange tabby, and proved it over and over by being Hattiemae's, "hugging cat", and special companion to her mom, and fur siblings! Clover November 5th, 1993 - July 1st, 2007. Clover brought unparalleled beauty and intense devotion into Hattiemae's life! Cody; April 1st, 1995 - August 17th, 2009. Although Cody lived with Hattiemae for just less than a month, he left a huge pawprint on both her heart and Jason's. He was charmingly sweet and mellow. Cooper; Summer of 1992 - Spring of 2000. The Siberian Husky who held the heart's of George, Jeanne and Adam. Cooper; June 3rd, 1999 - October 10th, 2012. The three tennis ball carrying, splash splashing, curly haired golden retriever who was the first family dog of CooperPenny's family. He was one of a kind, brightening the lives of everyone who knew him. Cricket; September, 1987 - June 20th, 2002. Special tiny companion to Joanne (Jo-Jo), they gave their love unselfishly to one another. Dakota; May, 2001. The special Rottweiler that stole the heart of his person, Rottiemama, & the rest of the family as well! Darrin; March 13th, 1993 - July 25th, 2007. A regal greyhound with resilience and strength, who sometimes showed Hattiemae an unexpected streak of playfulness and good humor. He had a winning smile! Delphino; August 10th, 1988 - March 12th, 2001. Brought home when Kara was in 5th grade, she was a loving kitty who gave her people & family doxie many happy years! Dusty; August 1993 - August 2006. Dusty was a stray kitty who made it into Hattiemae's home and her heart. He had a very special bond with her husband. Dweezil; June, 1996 - December 2nd, 2001. The pretty girl who put the 'ferret' in Ferretgirl, & was the apple of both Holly and Jason's eye! Ethan; April, 1994 - July 20th, 2006. He was a very loving cat who could always amuse Rottenrot and her family. He was tolerant of almost everyone and greeted people at the door just like a dog! Sylver Foxx Belz (Foxxee); November 14th, 1991 - April 22nd, 2002. Naylz's special girl who took as much care of her loving mom, as her mom did of her! Galen; December, 1987 - November, 2000. 12 1/2 years of joy from this Golden Retriever for Shannon and the entire Hahn family! Grace; November 28th, 1996 - March 2nd, 2009. It didn't take much of the 2+ years that Grace was part of Hattiemae's family to light up her home, and life, with her unique and wonderful personality and beauty. Greg; November, 1999 - July 10th, 2002. A special greyhound who was a foster to Hattiemae in name only. They enjoyed learning the fun of home and garden life with one another in the time that they had! Guenievere; July 1st, 1990 - July 31st, 1999. The loved cat who was Naylz's daughter Kendra's 10th birthday gift! Hattie; May 21st, 1992 - January 2nd, 2006. The love and companionship from this queenly, gentle soul led to her mom to become part of a greyhound rescue group, through which many greys are helped each year! Heidi; 1981 - 1996. The Dachshund loved by ~ Tony, Judy, Curtis, Kenneth & Kara for many happy years! Heidi; April 13th, 1984 - December 18th, 2000. The beloved Dachshund of Rottenrot's, who's heart was that of a lions!    |
