A Hundred Thousand Welcomes!

St. Patrick's Day is a time for the world to remember the Irish; though our influence is felt every day of the year.

The Celts are responsible for many things in life, as we know it today!

For, were it not for those inventive, intelligent, playful people who lived harmoniously with nature, and were dedicated to all that they did, ancestors of many of the Irish, and their sister cultures, we would have a very different view of life, indeed!

Take, for example, their laborious task of saving much of the Western literature which we value. And, very likely, literacy itself. It's a complicated subject, but in the spirit of those Irish Scribes in general, I would like to share with you the poem of Pangur Ban.
