Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This is, for us, the first year of a new century, and though debated by some, a new millenium!

That makes this a very special St. Patrick's Day, as it points out the age, history, and genius behind some of the most impressive places in the Western world!

Take the, "Star Temples", for example. Some pre-date the oldest Pyramid in Egypt by 2,000 yrs...and the Atlantian Hypertext found predates the oldest Middle Eastern language by the same amount of time; give or take 200 years!

Unbelieveable ancient calanders/observatories which used a bowl of colored fluid made from imported dyes, or blood; or large crystals to refract light into a chamber from a strategically placed small opening. It was very accurate, and in some cases the light slowly moves across the wall, or ceiling, to illuminate the messages on those places for viewing.

At Newgrange,(Please click on 'Newgrange', and after seeing the site, click on the 2 links at the bottom of their page. I do not agree with all said, but the facts, and pictures are good!) in the, Boyne Valley in Ireland, a coating of white quartz crystals covered the entire mound structure. And the huge curb stones, carved enticingly with it's coiled shapes, still stand...after having been put there in the 3rd millenium B.C.!

There is reason to believe that the ancient creators of these monuments also traveled to North America, and created the one's on this continent!

Women's rights? When did they begin? Where in the Western world? We should be humbled to learn that approximately 2,000 years ago Western culture had the Celtic people giving their women more rights, and property of their own, then other "civilized" people.

I respect the Native North American's for some of their tribe's beiefs on this issue, of what I do not consider power, but humanity, also, but cannot put a date to it in the first place, and in the 2nd, for all the superficial differences, have a belief that many of the Native American's, before intervention into their lives by intruding cultures, were very like the Celtic people in many ways!

So while we celebrate this step into a new era, please remember that we, the Celtic people, have been here already; a long time ago!

As a Fairy I must stop here to *wink* at the ~ Tuatha De Danaan!
