Welcome!To Page Two This is our way of remembering our special fur-friends after they have crossed what many of us know of as, The Rainbow Bridge. The picture on the left signifies the crossing, and how happy we are for them that they are in a wonderful, pain-free, perpetually young place, despite the fact that we miss their special, and unique companionship. Come look through the gate on page 2 with us to remember these, the special animals of our lives. Iris; February 6th, 1992 - December 4th, 2004. One of Shooe and Lily's 13 pups, taking after her black lab side, she was the "policewoman" of Santolina's house! When the other animals would act out, this sweet girl got tough & would "berf" a warning call, and they'd get back in line! Ivey; May 1st, 1991 - March 14th, 2003. After dual careers of racing and breeding, Ivey was retired at the age of 9. Her energy, sense of humor, and devotion brought she and Hattiemae very close during their 2 1/2 years together! Jazmyn; January 1st, 2002 - November 30th, 2009. Naylz' Jazmyn, a rottweiler, was the Best of the Best. A true ambassador of her breed. She shared a birthday with her Grandson, John, and is terribly missed by everyone. Julie "Jules" of Leland Valley; May, 1987 - July 11th, 2002 Raised by Stormy, and companion to her parents, Jules, (aka Big Red Dog, Chocolate Bear, Care Bear etc.) a vivacious red tri Australian Shepard, lived a long and happy life! Kizzy; March 16th, 1998 - August 5th, 1999. A sweet tortie-kitty, daughter of Guenievere, a bright spot in Naylz's life! Lacey; April, 1983 - February 2nd, 1989. Beloved one of a pair of 1st cats to bring happiness to Hattiemae! Lucky; October 26th, 1991 - September 2nd, 2001 The precious angel of Banditgirl/Hakunamatata/Becki, and brother to Bandit, he was a bright star in their life, whose glow still warms their hearts! Maike; March 16th, 1997 - November 4th, 2003. Beloved Rottweiler who was a constant companion and best friend to rottenrot. Dearly loved by the whole family, and ambassador for her breed!
Man E. Quinn Belz; May 27th, 1988 - April 6th, 2004. Mannie, a seal point Himalayan, was Amy's special companion. He was very sweet, and had a way of lighting up any room he was in, and the hearts of the people in them, as well! Margurieten; April 23rd, 2001 - January 25th, 2010 A white kitty with luxurious whiskers that everyone admired, she flew from N. California, to S. Carolina, to her home with Gwen, who's heart she stole a piece of quickly. Margurieten loved the 'babies' (stuffed toys) she carried about the house! Marmalade; March 26th, 1990 - January 31st, 2004. A yellow tabby born in a barn, she became the faithful companion to the Koster family. She was especially close to their younger daughter, Karleigh, her soul mate! Miss Omie; May, 1985 - October 29, 2000. A maltese who was the queen of Santolina's home! Missy; March, 1987 - September 29, 2003. Idgie's faithful and loving dog companion who walked with her through thick and thin, as good a friend as ever there was one! Molly; March 21st, 1993 - September 11th, 2006. Molly taught Hattiemae that 'senior’ does not necessarily mean ‘sedate’. During the couple of years they had together she packed in a lifetime of love, and mischief! Newton; ? - Spring, 2003 He was Talktoself's constant companion through many stages in her life, and her best friend! Pepper; July 29th, 1996 –- January 23rd, 2009. A kind, gentle, peaceful soul, Hattiemae was glad she had the chance to love him and care for him! PJ; December 5, 1994 - January, 2009 Gwen's sweet diva sheltie who ruled her world with dignity, yet always had a hint of clown in those beautiful brown eyes. Punkin; June, 1979 - January, 1991 The German Shepard/Irish Setter who was the 1st dog to bless Rottenrot's family! Rocky; November 1st, 1992 - January 15th, 2005 He was Tippi's soul mate, and stood by her through thick and thin, a real friend and gentleman! Roscoe; 1999 - August 29th, 2011 A kind soul, Roscoe was a fur-person extraordinaire with a deep connection to his mom, Trish. Ruby Mouse; March, 2003 A tiny body, in which resided a huge heart and soul, bringing, Hakunamatata, tremendous pleasure and joy! Rugger Rug Rat; Summer, 1997 - February, 27th, 2006 A naturally large cat, Rugger was Paten's special soft, furry pillow, sleeping by her head. He was always piled high with content kittens, and was accepted by all the other cats; a kindly uncle! Sam; ? - January 5th, 2010 Owley's wonderful Maine Coon was supposed to be her son's cat, but had a mind of his own when he chose she and her husband, instead! Tugger; April 3rd, 1995 - January 8th, 2010 Rottenrot's handsome, solid gray, long furred cat with a tail like a squirrel, Tugger loved living in a barn, & spent many happy hours exploring it. Each evening he was there, & ready to bed down cozily for the night. He adored people, and never stopped hoping that he could play with the bunnies in the fields!    |
